I hope i am in the right place to say thanks Tommy for all your time and patience trying to get my IM up and working. I know it was a hard one for you. IM is now working fine on my son's computer and i am happy to be able to be active once again in the groups. Without your help i would not be enjoying the groups once again. Lizzy, using a PC equipped with Windows 7 today represents a certain risk because this old operating system has not received any security updates for a long time...
However, it is possible to install IncrediMail and Letter creator, the procedure is the same as that which I describe for Windows 10 and 11, only the ergonomics of the system screens changes, but you should get there by reading this subject and using your browser's translator.

Thank you so much Tommy, I did get it done but it's in French lol and while it's much easier to read than my PSP lessons in German it's still hard for me to make out lol..is there anyway to change it to English? I wish I was smarter to learn another language. Thank you again

Ok I have figured that out and have changed it to English but now I can't my gmail to work and I have tried just about everything, has anyone managed to get theirs to work?

yes of course it perfectly works but you need to generate an application password in your gmail security, two steps connexion if your Windows 7 version allows

I tried that but it doesn't show up in my gmail like it does in the description on here, I have the two step security off and when I go to third party apps there isn't an option to turn it off or add IM..I'm sorry I know I'm a pain

It's difficult to tell more as it's the only way to get gmail in Incredimail. I suppose it's because your Windows version is too old and not under security so gmail doesn't want to take risks. You should use another address that won't ask for an application password or..... change your Windows version

Here is the procedure for creating the app password as it appears on my Google account
If you can't find these screens, I advise you to contact Google support or their support forum. Here on our forum, many commenters have put a Gmail account in IncrediMail (Saskia and I included...)
